After practicing for many years, and having such a strong love for Yoga, I decided to train to be a teacher so that I could go deeper into the practice and to be able to share yoga with more people. Yoga has many benefits, but one of the best ones Ive experiences, is its ability to calm the nervous system and get students in a relaxed, balanced and happy state.
My Yoga classes are usually Hatha style, where I focus on slightly fewer poses and spend a bit more time in each pose. However, I do incorporate other yoga styles - like Vinyasa and Yin - depending on the class theme or the needs of the student. I really enjoy creating different classes, based on a specific theme, and incorporate different elements that I feel work well together. This could mean a more dynamic energising class or a slower relaxing class, or one with more breathing techniques or meditation, or even one that includes some EFT tapping, reflexology, or chanting.
I have had a passion for health and happiness for many many years, and have accumulated a lot of knowledge and skills - from training as a reflexologist, a yoga teacher and a health & happiness coach - and I always look for ways I can incorporate what I've learnt and experiences into my yoga classes.
No matter what level or age you are, yoga is a beautiful gift you can give yourself. Join me on the journey :)
