Dear Sir or Madam.
With already 15 years of experience as a teacher, I would like to convince you why I am the right candidate for the position as teacher/ tutor.
I graduated from the Universidad del Atlantico with a bachelor's degree in foreign languages, majoring in German, English and French. Before that, I had already developed a passion for foreign languages, which is why I was hired by the School 20 De Julio de Rebolo and Institución Cristiana La Rosa de Saron as an English teacher in 2006.
Since not only the languages but also the pedagogical aspect was important, I did a pedagogical internship in the school San Vicente de Paul and Colegio Distrital de la Playa in 2010 during my studies. This allowed me to work as an English teacher at the renormed Colombo Español School in Barranquilla, Colombia. Since my interest in other foreign languages, like German in this case, was always growing, I was offered the opportunity to take a German course in Hamburg for three months to continue improving my German skills.
Through this experience, I not only continued to be interested in foreign languages, but was also able to admire the historical and cultural aspect of the old continent. Especially since the languages I learned at the university are native languages of Europe.
For this reason, I got the great opportunity to teach German at the German School in Barranquilla as a German teacher for all ages. In these four years as a teacher, I realized all the more that my professional career is more and more confirmed, not only because of the languages, but also the closeness to my classmates and their parents, who always praised me for my interaction with their children.
In 2019, I came to Germany for family reasons and started teaching Spanish at Strothoff International School in Dreieich, where I also gained the very enriching experience of working with children from other areas of the world for the first time and learning a lot about other cultures and different ways of seeing and living.
For these very reasons, I am sure that I will generate added value to you as a teacher/tutor. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
