I like using a mix of different teaching approaches based on the english level the students are at.

1. Communicative language teaching (CLT)

This method focuses on putting students in a variety of real-life situations. This helps you learn how to use English skills to communicate in the real world. We will focus on fluency rather than accuracy.

2. Task-based language teaching (TBLT)

We will also focus on completing your particular interest by means of, for example, a presentation about a particular issue. This method will empower and motivate you to "own" the language and control the nature of the task response.

4. Cooperative Language Learning (CLL)

You will be able to discuss a specific topic with me or your fellow learners and give feedback or make suggestions based on the discussion. The aim is to accomplish tasks by interacting or working together.

5. Grammar

Of course, the traditional teaching approach focuses on the proper use of English grammar. This is a little bit tricky and at times difficult, but it is the most important step to speaking and writing good English. But hey, after I started learning the German grammar, I am not complaining anymore.

As a teacher, speaking from my experience, a mixed approach of learning helps, keep the learning fun and entertaining instead of just one-way lecture. The students will also be in control of their own ideas.
