I’m a fiction writer and have written dozens of short stories, poems, essays, articles, screenplays, including a feature length screenplay, and novels.

I'm also a native speaker of English and have studied my mother tongue for many years and continue to do so every day. I have a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing and have completed two years of study toward a master's degree in applied linguistics and TESOL.

I speak Spanish fluently and German on an intermediate level, and I can teach English partially in these languages.

My belief is that language learning should have clear goals, a high level of motivation, and a mixture of formal study as well as immersion in specific situations.

My lessons are a combination of traditional vocabulary building, grammar, and common usage and syntax.
