I graduated high school with a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in English and Swahili literature. I have therefore taught Swahili to beginners for more than 3 years now. Swahili is widely spoken in Tanzania, Kenya, parts of Rwanda, Uganda, DRC Congo, Somalia, Uganda, among others. Therefore if you have plans of visiting/staying in East Africa, this course might be exactly what you need!

The course schedule is flexible, therefore we can negotiate what time works best for both of us. By the end of the course, depending on the duration/intention of your learning, you will be able to have basic conversation, understand spoken/written texts, and conjugations in Swahili. If you have done the language before, and want to improve your skills in the grammar or literature, we delve deeper into the analysis of literary text. I look forward to having you part of my class.
