Hello Dear students,
My name is Seda. I am an approachable person which makes it easy for my students to connect and build positive relationships with me. This was one of the main reasons I have chosen to become an English teacher. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience in teaching the English language. I have a great passion to teach young learners. Iam a patient, fun and enthusiastic hard-working teacher who is always ready to teach young learners. I want to be part of your language learning journey and support you fully with meaningful lessons.
I have a bachelor's degree in teaching English to learners of all ages. I also have a TEFL certificate to teach English in many countries around the world. During my university training, I have also taken classes about teaching young learners. Moreover, I have my Master's Degree on teaching to young learners from Freiburg University. I have worked in preschools to teach the English language to young learners. I have eleven years of teaching experience. In the past, by working as an English teacher and English language teaching coordinator, I have gained great experience in the teaching field. I have also taken part in the European Union projects(E-twinning). I have also worked in China and Spain to gain international experience to teach young learners. In 2013, I had two great weeks teaching English in Spain at a camp called Red Leaf in A Coruna city. The course aimed to provide English learning experiences to low socioeconomic background students. Also in 2013, I moved to China, I worked as an English teacher and head teacher for one year. During this time, I learned basic Chinese, learning Chinese helped me to understand and interact with my students in a better way and communicate with local people. After leaving China in 2014, I moved to Turkey and worked in kindergartens and I organized my own playgroups until I have moved to Germany. In 2019, I have moved to Germany. I worked as an English teacher at an online teaching company for two years. At the same time, I am attending courses about teaching to keep my skills and knowledge up- to-date
