Back in Ecuador, I taught kids around 7-9 years old. I realized that since they are like sponges for knowledge, it would be easier to teach them through games and experiments, actually the results were much better than using the same method where the teacher starts talking and students just copy. However it is also important to review the grammar, and there are so many ways to make it a bit more interesting like video games developed for those type of activities. During the pandemic, the world had to adapt itself to different tools, and for students the most common was the internet through a computer, meaning that they became masters in using this specific tool, so it was primordial to learn new methods in order to adapt them to the different classes.
I used to teach different subjects like English as a second language, Science, Social Studies, Math, Phonics, Physical Education and Art.
