Raven Grace Janicello

I went to a bilingual middle school after primary school for two years. I then completed my Matura (Abitur) at a gymnasium called Kantonsschule Hottingen, in Zurich, Switzerland focusing on the subjects economy and law.
Besides English and German, I am fluent in French and am currently learning Spanish at an A2 level. After graduation, I wanted some time off of school and gained working experience in many different fields by doing several student jobs in Zurich, Switzerland. However, in 2017, I then decided to visit my sister, who lived in Los Angeles for over ten years, to participate in a 3-month study program in sound design in electronic music production. I became very interested in designing my sounds, thus wanted to learn more about music production. Therefore, I decided to move to Berlin in September 2017 to study for a B. A in electronic music production and sound engineering at a university called dBs music located in the beautiful Funkhaus in Köpenick, Berlin. This study program was also in English. After graduation, which unfortunately happened during the lock-down in 2020, I decided to continue studying; however, I felt the urge to move more into a business direction, which led me to the decision of studying a Masters in international management with a focus on creative leadership. This means that the program still focuses on rather creative than corporate industries. Currently, I am on my semester break and will continue with my third out of four semesters in October 2021.
