Hi! My name is Pauline and I passed my A-levels (Abitur) this year. I absolutely love the English language ever since I started reading Harry Potter in eighth grade. Languages fascinate me. It is a wonderful skill to be fluent in another language, to be able to understand the thoughts of a person living on the other side of the world. And I would like to pass on this enthusiasm.
My main focus will therefore be to teach my students how to interact with other people in English, whether through speaking or writing. To do this, it is important to master the basics first and then move on to more difficult topics later. In order to improve my students' performance, I set small, achievable goals and work with their individual interests to make the lessons more interesting.
In addition, I will always include the current topics that are being discussed at school and help my students to understand them. I will also offer to correct essays or homework.
