Patricia-Ioana Sfagau

I completed my BA studies at the University of Southampton, where I studied applied linguistics and English language studies. During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered as an English teacher at the Camford Royal School, Beijing, where I helped high school students prepare for applying to a university abroad. I obtain a TEFL certificate, which qualifies me to teach English as a foreign language. I then went on to complete my MA at the University of Tuebingen, where I studied English Linguistics.
I am an ambitious and adaptable person demonstrated by my professional and academic experience. Apart from working as an English teacher and conducting research on the science of learning and teaching English, I have also worked in different business fields, such as recruiting, sales, CSR, and business development.
I am a fan of learning foreign languages myself as I speak fluently 4 languages, English, Romanian, German, and Korean, and I am also able to communicate at a beginner level in Italian and Spanish. The quote I guide myself by is "The knowledge of language is the doorway to wisdom".
