Natalya Buyar

My name is Natalya and I am a native English speaker living in Europe. I am passionate about language learning and speak several different languages including English, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Romanian. As someone who enjoys learning other languages, I understand the joys and challenges that communicating in another language can bring.

I have spent the last five and half years working as a Speech and Language Pathologist and English tutor in different capacities. I have experience working with adults seeking to improve their English conversational skills, Business English and other language skills (grammar, comprehension, vocabulary). I also have experience working with children individually and in group settings. My educational background includes a bachelor degree in Speech Language Pathology from California State University, Sacramento and a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Biola University. This educational background is especially helpful in understanding language development and various approaches to language learning and speech improvement (including accent modification).

Our sessions together will be individually designed to meet your language needs/goals and to support your learning style. I use a variety of different language curriculums and resources to best target my students' specific goals. I believe that my various methods of teaching and practice including structured grammar and vocabulary instruction, listening and reading comprehension practice, accent modification instruction, and of course, lots of conversation practice will truly help improve your communication in English.
