I am Umair, an English education bachelor graduate from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with a GPA of 3.86/4.00. My teaching journey includes roles as an English tutor at English Pro Jogja and a teaching intern at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco, where I honed my skills in lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment. These experiences have equipped me with effective teaching strategies and the ability to create engaging learning environments for students of all ages.
Additionally, I am no stranger to international experiences, having participated in a student exchange program at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia, as part of the International Credit Transfer Program. This opportunity broadened my cultural horizons and enhanced my adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills.
Furthermore, my involvement in various social organizations, such as my tenure as Chief of the Public Relations Division of the English Department Student Association at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, has strengthened my communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Moreover, my achievements, including receiving awards such as the Gold Medalist in the World Youth Invention And Innovation Awards and the Awardee of Funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture's Flagship Program, underscore my dedication to excellence and innovation in education. With a passion for teaching and a diverse skill set acquired through teaching experiences, activism, and international exposure, I am eager to contribute to the academic success of students as an English tutor.
