Teaching English to people with different backgrounds require different strategies and tools. The strategies and tools acquired throughout my university years whether it were ESL ( English as a Second Language) or EFL ( English as a Foreign Language ) or the combination of all in form of ELT ( English Language Teaching). My TESOL modules
will be designed as per need of each student, as without the contextual aspect no language or communication module can be taught. The Korda Teaching Institute variety of methods on combine or collective action that in other words can be described as group action as part of learning and translating those learnings in the real life practices would be my real goal. The role of guide and leader would be primarily focused on Standard Learning Outcomes ( SLOs). The teaching being online would be interactive consisting of videographic abd pictographic notes. The pdfs would be shared at end of the class , plus a course outline would be provided at start of the lessons. The outline of prior lesson would be provided a day before , so that students are cognizant of the topics to be learned in the lesson. The teaching sole purpose would be engaging students in a healthy conversation , so that their discursive habits are developed. Students will be able to differentiate between a discourse and discussion. The formality of words, behavioursim , role and duties of individuals in community will be part of my free ethics lessons. Academic lessons based on such modules that enhane students Critical Thinking Skliis will be taught.
