My teaching method is very simple as I start by understanding the student education level and student understanding of the subject level. If student has already good basics, we can start at the level student is required by one's education level. However, if student is not good with basics of the biology, it is important for one to understand those basics first before we can go to the level where student is studying right now. This is vital because biology is a science subject and it cannot be learned through memorization, it needs the understanding of every concept which is required to indulge the interest for the course into the student and one can choose it even at the higher education level. During my teaching, I am not someone reading the book or slides, I believe in discussion to engage the student. This method ensures that student/students are fully getting along. Otherwise, it becomes just waste of time for the teacher if student has got nothing from the teaching. During teaching the subject, I expect students to be serious as it is very vital for their time and understanding. If student is not serious or interested to learn, I would like to quit if I am unable to make one engaged into one's study after repeated tries.
