My classroom is a learner-centred environment where learning is driven by the students themselves. Teachers are there to facilitate and guide the opportunity of discovery and investigation into the content, however the students need to engage and grapple with it themselves. In a practical sense, the majority of most lessons should be students learning to ask the right questions and identifying important problems and trying to find innovative answers and solutions. In my dealings with others, especially my students, I often reiterate the fact that when approaching or working with others one should have self-awareness and respect that extends to the external world outside of them. Being mindful, considerate and appreciative of all around you makes learning, growth and personal development a fulfilling journey that you can share with those around you. I consistently incorporate this philosophy in my day-to-day interactions. The content can be adjusted according to the needs of the students- 'tailor-made'. But the basic interactions for everyday scenarios in their unique environment are the groundwork and foundation of all my lessons.
