Focus on discussing the material, deep understanding of the student. I look to explain how the language works and to make sure my students understand it too. My work uses spoken language, gestures, visual aids to get my point across. In practice my desire is for my students to use their language in a way that is thorough and clean, but also for my students to not waste time with materials they don't need, topic that are not interested and so on. In my experience most people struggle with sentence structure and word structure, these two aspects grind down speech to a halt and disallow speakers to go on. Helping improve in these areas is crucial. So crucial in fact, that some other field like the vocabulary start to experience less stress. As most students try to cover their underdeveloped sentences with more vocabulary. This is why visual aspect is so important in my work, i always try to explain how a proper English sentence "goes". I always try to deliver my information in personable matter, I am capable of being light hearted and always try not to be the "boring" teacher. My students can expect me to be honest and straightforward as well. My classes can be flexible and include more speaking practice, vocabulary, grammar depending on the needs of the student everything can be adjusted. It is always fair to expect me to try and talk to you and see how well you are actually doing. I want my students to know I am there for them!
