I have 2 years experience working one-on-one (privately) with students who are struggling with their English skills. I have tutored students who are native-speaking in English and students who do not know basic English at all. I am TEFL-certified which means I have a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. My teaching methods are based on a communicative approach, which emphasizes the development of practical language skills that can be used in real-life situations. This approach emphasizes the use of authentic materials, such as videos, articles, and podcasts, to provide students with exposure to real-world language use and to build their comprehension and communication skills.
