I am an experienced English Trainer with a strong academic and professional background in customer relationship management, marketing and sales. I take pride in delivering high quality one-to-one and group courses based on a highly communicative and student-centred approach.

In the first lesson, I perform a detailed needs analysis to assess each student’s current language level and to understand their aims and expectations for the course in order to develop lessons that help students achieve their goals.

My lessons are very communicative based on each student’s interests and academic or professional needs, and I incorporate authentic materials (audio, texts) wherever possible. For those preparing for exams, I am very experienced with teaching grammar and use a lot of communicative games to help you remember the various verb tenses, their structures and when to use them.

I offer online lessons throughout Germany, and I am also able to travel to students within Berlin where my schedule permits. I am very flexible as to the hours of instruction I can offer, so mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends are all possible as my existing course schedule permits.

Since moving to Germany, I have had the opportunity to teach hundreds of students from a number of leading German organisations, including startups, consultancies, large multinationals and government agencies, which has provided me with good insight into the German language learner and particular areas that can cause difficulties when learning English.
