I have experience working as an assistant teacher at a primary school as well as a language educator for adults. I worked in Brussels, Belgium where I spoke Dutch with my students, but I also have advanced written and verbal skills in English, having successfully written many academic and journalistic articles in the language. I also own a C1 German certificate and have additionally translated texts from French into Dutch and English.

With this extensive knowledge of languages I hope to help students with learning difficulties and share with them my passion for learning and reading. From experience, I understand that each student requires a different approach that demands mutual respect and trust. Time is often needed to build a bond between teacher and student. Patience and attention are qualities of mine that have enabled me to work with children and adults alike towards effective ends.
