I have 7 years of teaching experience. I completed my master’s degree in Education and Linguistics in 2015, since then I have gained the necessary experience in teaching foreign languages. During my postgraduate studies I started to work as language teaching assistant at the Department of Foreign Languages at Tula State Pedagogical University, where I was responsible for curriculum designing and teaching of different aspects of the English language as grammar, phonetics, morphology and syntax. Moreover, I gave lectures in Country studies of the English-speaking countries, particularly the UK and the USA. I have built an extensive knowledge in teaching methods and strategies, which, in my opinion, are crucial for conducting classes with the successful outcome.
After spending one year in the United States working for Wittenberg University as foreign language teaching assistant at the Department of World Languages, I completed my second Master’s Degree in International Relations and Politics in one of the best universities in Shanghai, the PRC. These studies helped me to develop the deep understanding of interpersonal and intercultural communication, which plays an important role in teaching a foreign language. It will help learners to acquire not only linguistic competence as well as intercultural one, and to prepare them for interaction with people who have different cultural background.
At my recent position as English trainer and Business coach in , the largest online travel agencies in Asia, I was responsible for creation of training materials and conducting language and specific travel industry business classes for the whole International Business Unit. During that time, I was able to share my knowledge with hundreds of people from China, South Korea, Japan, Scotland, Philippines, Russia.
Recently, I have successfully completed TEFL and CELTA.
