My teaching lessons are always planned ahead before teaching my class. I always based my lessons on the students needs, time and knowledge. To start off, I like to get to know my students in a ways that I know the level of the language they have and where they want to get to. Based on that I like to teach by experience taking into account my student’s background. I have implementing brainstorming activities so that way we all interact and create about vocabulary so we can develop a good conversation and create progress. I also take into account what type of student I have so I can use different types of methodology such as interactive, realia, conversational, it all depends on what the students in more likely to learn easily and comfortably and that way we can all achieve our goals, they as learners as well as me as a teacher. I also like to interact as a facilitator so that way they become more self sufficient with the language, which it also makes them get more into the lesson and participate , create their critical thinking which is very fundamental when learning a new language. I also like to always summarize the lesson so that way we reinforce what we learned throughout the lesson. That has worked so far with my students, children as well as adults. I have more than 5 years experience in teaching English as a foreign language and my native language is Spanish. I has been an amazing experience.
