With over ten years experience working with children, it is safe to say that teaching, educating and working with children is not only a passion of mine but important to me. I believe that each and every child deserves to be nurtured in a safe and engaging environment that allows them to reach their true learning potential.

In Australia I have been teaching and working with children in the performing arts. The role of a dance and theatre teacher is one that encourages children to explore their creativity and confidence. I am always striving to be a teacher that allows for this growth in a child. For the past year I have been working in Children’s English theatre in Italy as well as teaching English a second language. I believe there are many things that make a great teacher. Firstly; lesson planning. As both an English and performing arts teacher, this is one of the most important crucial parts of the job. A well-prepared lesson ensures that I step into every class with confidence and that I have also understood the level and needs of the children I am working with. Secondly; classroom management and nourishment. Understanding your children and their needs so that their learning can thrive.
