I am a German citizen and live in Leverkusen, but I was born and bred in South Africa and am therefore a native English speaker.
After I finished school I studied Law at the University of Pretoria, South Africa but decided on a career in Real estate. I later worked as Marketing & Sales, and Training manager for various Real estate and development companies in many countries including South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, UAE and Germany. This international experience gave me the edge over stress and enabled me to deal with people from many nationalities and on all levels. Therefore, my experience includes financial, legal, investment, HR, and marketing & sales skills.
In January 2017 I started teaching basic and business English as a freelancer to lawyers, business executives and people who want to work in business– both in-person and online
I am dedicated to teaching English/Business English and believe in a conversation-driven teaching philosophy that focuses on the student. I enrolled in a TEFL course to polish my teaching skills and obtained my Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in June 2020, specialising in teaching Business English – both in-person and online.
