Learning a language is easier if you are engaged and motivated. For that reason, it is important to know the basics (grammar) but after a few lessons it is better to move on to the real language and expose the students to little texts, songs, and videos.

For the higher levels the aim is improving the vocabulary and fluency, that is why I suggest a film and discuss about it or chose a topic of interest and read some text before the class and then make comments and discursions about it. These are better ways to learn than simply using a book.

I am very curious so there are many topics that I am interested in. I love to read and write, and I also like to correct text suggesting native expressions and teaching the students different idioms and proverbs.
