hey, so the way i teach others speak, read and write english fluently is by first figuring how much they know and work from there.
I teaching them how to introduce themselves, how to buy things, how to ask for things, into more complicated areas like conversations, negotiation, and being able to discuss anything in english. Whenever they get stuck on a word or an entire structure, i assist them in their native language but if unfortunately, i do not share their language, i encourage them to use the translator which ultimately helps them gain confidence through repetition and knowledge of how to understand and respond.
In order to achieve this repetition without boredom, i like to use fun, competitive websites like kahoot, quizzlet and also i encourage them to change their evironment to further their skills even outside class(music, video games, movies, sports games).
This method of starting out small and building on what you already know has helped many people around me learn the language in a short amount of time. Most of the people i have taught were germans and immigrants from america latina, russia, serbia, ukraine, the middle east such as syria, afghanistan, morroco, turkiye etc. and they have all passed their english classes with 80% or higher (2 or higher in european grading). I havent had an issue yet teaching them the way i do but i am always open to new way to teach people english and i am always available to be contacted.
