Bahasa Indonesia is a wonderful language. It differ from one region to another due to their dialects. What I'm going to teach you is the formal and informal language and how to apply them in everyday life. I will give you examples where to apply it so that you can realize intuitively about the difference of the formal and informal types.
According to your preference, we can learn more than just the language itself. We can dive in to Indonesian poetry, short story, songs, and many more.
My experience learning Bahasa Indonesia at school taught me that when you move in to another city in different island, sometimes the language you thought was Bahasa Indonesia was actually your regional language. Even the use of some words are slightly different and have different meaning altogether when you talk about it on another city in different island. I was confused about it at first but now I can use both words interchangeably.
From media social I often see that most people who learn Bahasa Indonesia was confused at first because what they learnt are formal language so much that when they applied it, they made the native speaker confused. Because we rarely use it in everyday life and just use some slangs and shortened form of writing when texting, and it actually very confusing to foreigner.
So I want to teach you not only the formal language but also the informal language and their slangs so that you can survive safely in Indonesia.
