Joanna Schäfer

In my previous role as a DaF instructor, I gained extensive experience in conducting language courses at various levels in accordance with the CEFR. I have taught both in-person and online courses, utilizing digital teaching materials and platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, and Moodle. The use of interactive tools to promote language practice and the adaptation of teaching materials to meet the specific needs of participants are part of my daily responsibilities.

In addition to my professional qualifications, I possess strong methodological and didactic skills and work effectively both independently and within a team. Working with heterogeneous groups, which is common in integration courses, requires a high level of flexibility, empathy, and intercultural competence—qualities I have developed through my professional experience.

The opportunity to teach remotely is an excellent chance for me to continue applying my expertise in a modern educational setting while contributing to the linguistic and professional integration of people with migration backgrounds.
