I have a Degree in Spanish Philology and two Master´s Degrees in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language. My first Master´s thesis was on how different didactic methodologies and teaching strategies affect students´ motivation, and the topic of my second Master´s thesis was the use of images as a didactic tool to motivate students. In addition, I am constantly learning and taking courses, lately more focused on cognitivism and how the emotional factor affects language learning. Therefore, motivation, cognitivism and affective factors of language are the three cornerstones of my teaching philosophy.
I have lived and worked in multicultural environments in which teamwork and fluent communication are essential. My vocation is teaching, and I do believe that my empathetic and motivational communication skills, as well as my ability to face challenges with resilience and a good sense of humor, are key to my success.
