I have experience with teaching programming and in facilitating teamwork

I find teaching others a fun challenge since you often have to adjust explanations based on the feedback you get while explaining something. Sometimes multiple people understand a concept with the same explanation other times you have to find new ways of explaining so that they might understand. I find this a fun challenge. In addition to this in many cases the student can be helped more effectively by that I as the instructor takes a less active role in explaining and rather tries to ask the student the open ended questions that might facilitate the student to self find an answer. With this I have gained some experience through being a student assistant at my former university in a programming course. I believe that these concepts transfer to the teaching of mathematics and I would enjoy the challenge of teaching mathematics. My math background is strong with many courses completed at the university as I am studying physics.
