I got my professional Certificate of Teaching (CT) in 2004. I am in teaching soon after my graduation in , I successfully passed my Bachelor of Education (BEd) with a first division. I am a lifetime Associate Fellow of United Kingdom Advance Higher Education (UK-AHE) which I secured by qualifying their examination in 2021.
The goal of my teaching is to raise the individual into a significant entity that he can serve the society, both nationally and globally. A professional teacher can guarantee for day-to-day advancement of the world by making the students critical and creative thinkers and thus have a leading role in the society. A hardworking, punctual, enthusiastic, supportive, and methodological teacher is always a role model for the students and I am always eager to avail these qualities in my teaching.
My teaching of Chemistry involve the use of multimedia, videos, charts, whiteboard, and marker in my class and lab activities to nourish the learning needs of my students. I prefer the correlation of the ideas to their real-world which increases their critical thinking, curiosity, and creativity. I always encourage the students to ask questions and I take pauses during my activity to get them engaged by questioning. It develops their communication and interpersonal skills and helps me to judge their understanding of a certain topic.
I use SMART objectives in my lessons and keep it moving from simple to complex during my class. I judge the engagement and understanding of students through formative assessment and if needed I change my ongoing strategy to the one more effective. I use the ADDIE model as a guideline tool for effectiveness of my activity. When the feedback of students is not sufficient enough then I teach the same topic by different strategies which not only make it more understandable to those who did not understand it in their first time but also make it more memorable to those who already have learned it. I always develop student-centred lessons with clear objectives, properly aligned Hook and think-pair-share, and well-organized topic.
