Experienced English Teacher- Passionate about Language and Literature- Guiding Students to Excel in Exams!

I am an enthusiastic English teacher and Librarian with 18 years of experience in preparing students for international examinations- trained to deliver instruction for the IBDP- International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and IGCSE (Cambridge Secondary) English Language and Literature. I have maintained a 100% pass rate A*-C for all students.
I also have extensive experience in Curriculum Development and was a High School Librarian. In this role, I solely managed a library servicing over 700 students and taught a research project course for the Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC)
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Political Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching English, and several certificates in instruction from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Additionally, I am certified in Middle Leadership through the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and I have a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the TELF Organization, United Kingdom.
I trust my knowledge, qualifications and experience would make me a suitable candidate for tutoring English to high school students, and Business English for foreign language learners. Ultimately, my career objective is to obtain a challenging and responsible position in the fields of education, research, and communication, specializing in innovative and proactive solutions to problems that may arise in the respective environments. I am interested in positions that facilitate the sharing of cultures through literacy and the cooperation of individuals in a global community.
