My name is Graciela Laufer. I graduated from the Karl Ruprecht University in Heidelberg with a degree in German as a Foreign Language – Modern Philology (Linguistics and Literature) and Educational Science and since returning to Argentina I have been teaching all levels at the Goethe Institut since 1997.
For almost two years now, due to the global context, I have been teaching mainly online locally and internationally, and the new environmental situation has given me the chance to familiarise myself with new methods, which requires a special attitude and a certain adaptation to the new teaching reality.
I am already giving classes but also want to try new options, to gain contact with different students in particular and people interested in the German language in general, all over the world. As a teacher, it is a unique feeling to share with others the love for the German language, the admiration for the German culture. Moreover, it is in harmony with one of the most important goals of our activity, which is to strengthen multiculturalism and thereby gain more tolerance.
