My experience includes teaching in primary and secondary public schools in the United States, tutoring elementary kids after school in various subjects, and assisting in adult English-language learning centers, as well as teaching adults while I attended university. I have extensive experience helping non-English speakers of all ages with translation and interpretation services. I also have a certification to teach English, from the International TEFL Academy.

The International TEFL Academy provided me with structured training on how to best teach people of various ages and backgrounds, for academic and business-related purposes. I have confidence that with my background and skills, anyone who works with me, will improve their English skills in the areas of writing, reading, speaking and listening. I take my job very seriously and I have high expectations of my students; I teach in a calm and firm manner, with a high level of motivation.

Intrinsic motivation is very important, but most important is hard work and consistency, no matter what level you are. I teach beginner students with content that includes simple but very common verbs, sight words, popular songs (yes, you will be singing some tunes), easy everyday phrases, and more. I tailor my teaching content and level for more advanced students; to include more conversational sessions with advanced vocabulary and more complex sentences.

I will teach you about the language structure, general elements of the culture in the United States, as well as prepare you for a trip or a permanent move to the United States.
