Hello,
I am Fatma and I have a degree in Communication Engineering. I have always been enthusiastic in Math and its life applications.
My lessons are designed to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel confident in their ability to learn and succeed in mathematics. As a Primary Math Instructor with an engineering background, I use my strong mathematical foundation to break down complex concepts into simpler, digestible steps that young learners can understand and apply. My teaching methods focus on interactive learning, utilizing visuals, real-life examples, and hands-on activities to make math relatable and fun. For instance, I incorporate games, puzzles, and storytelling to explain concepts like fractions or geometry or even bigger concepts as matrices and calculus, sparking curiosity and interest.
The content of my lessons is carefully structured to align with the student's curriculum and individual learning pace. I begin with a quick review of previous lessons to reinforce knowledge and build a strong foundation. Next, I introduce new concepts through examples and guided practice, ensuring students have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts. I end each lesson with a recap and tailored exercises to help students apply what they’ve learned.
Classroom dynamics are collaborative and student-centered. I encourage active participation, peer discussions, and a problem-solving mindset. My approach prioritizes patience, empathy, and adaptability, allowing me to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. While my teaching experience primarily stems from mentoring and tutoring students during my engineering studies, it has given me valuable insight into how to simplify complex ideas and inspire a love for math. My ultimate goal is to empower students with skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom.
