Elie Hazeem

My name is Elie Hazeem and I'm originally from Syria, but lived in Ukraine for about 8 years. When the war started, I moved with my wife to Germany, we arrived in Munich on March the 4th, 2022. I'm a CELTA certified teacher and I also passed TKT modules 1, 2, and 3. With that being said, I use communicative approach. I'm an English philologist by education. In Germany. I'm trying to find a stable job in teaching. I mostly teach English for Business but I also teach general English. I'm studying German, and my level is almost A2. I recently work for Münchner Volkshochschule.
I started teaching general English in 2016, but starting from 2019 I began teaching Business English as well. I help students prepare for their meetings and presentations, help them with the problems they may face everyday at their workplace and give them tips how they can boost their career. I don't have experience teaching kids and I'm not qualified to teach kids. I can teach both on line and face to face, groups and individuals. I like to use technology in my lessons whenever I have the chance to and I always encourage my students to use their smartphones to learn and practice more English every day.
