Learning is a lifelong activity for many of us. I as a teacher facilitate my students' easy learning from wherever they can, whether they learn English at school, at the workplace, from books, or from a website on the internet. Students of course learn foreign languages like English for various purposes such as General English, English for Special Purposes, Exam English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, and/ or Survival English.
I would describe my teaching style as highly adaptable coaching. I alternate between being an authority, demonstrator, facilitator, and delegator. Firstly and foremost, I find out my student(s)' current level of language skills and personality, later in order to evaluate our progress regularly, we develop a clear plan and milestones for the entire learning period. I use several teaching methods, adjusting them according to the plan and the ultimate goal we have with the student.
So far it has been great to develop eagerness and inquisition instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, and make the right adjustments. With the help of demonstrative activities, we find the answers together. In this way, they develop thinking and creativity abilities, and that’s exactly why I prefer coaching to lecturing. I aim to prepare them better for the challenges they will face in real-life situations.
Throughout my teaching life, I have always met different personalities, I am open to working with students of all levels of abilities. I simply try my best with each student– that’s the definition of my teaching style. It may mean one thing in one lesson and a completely different one in another. Can't wait to work with you!
