My First Teaching method is Communicative Language Teaching. I love to use this method because it aims to put students in a variety of real-life situations, so that they can learn how to use their language skills to communicate in the real world. I also use Task-Based language Teaching. Students might, for example, be asked to deliver a presentation about an important environmental issue. In order to complete it, they will need to read / listen to source material, conduct internet research, as well as writing and delivering the presentation itself. Next, Cooperative Language Learning seeks to make the maximum use of cooperative activities involving pairs and small groups of learners in the classroom. As such, it is a student-centered, rather than a teacher-centered, approach to language teaching. The Direct Method also is crucial for teaching English, forcing the learner to think and speak in that language. The learner does not use their native language in the classroom.
Teaching dynamic is also important for the students so that the students are active, are involved in what they are learning. This implies adopting a whole new approach to a lesson so that they are not just waiting, not just listening. On the contrary, they must actively participate in different ways.
While teaching, I feel good and happy when my students feel also good and happy because they learnt the key points of my teaching. When my students are not really understand with the lesson, I tell them that on the next classroom, I will explain more detailed until they really get it well.
