Professor of Spanish as a foreign language, Spanish as a native language, philosophy, editor, and proofreader with 11 years of experience in total.
Since I started my training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at the end of 2020, I discovered the advantages of the task-based approach and the communicative approach in general.
I can apply the task-based approach because through facilitating tasks and a final task I have seen how learning is retained much longer, has more meaning for the students since the topics of the tasks can be according to their interests and, in addition, it is easier to integrate language skills in general (writing, reading, listening and speaking).
I've worked with the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the Universidad El Bosque and the National University of Colombia.
The 1-1 classes I have had with students from the United States, Japan, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Guyana, England and Saudi Arabia through the Javeriana University have given me experience in this type of teaching.
