Designing CELTA-based lesson plans for different age groups and different needs is my first taken step towards teaching, which primarily depends on my placement test of students, mostly in private tutoring. In a teaching environment, stablishing a context/ lead-in always comes first, followed by carrying out variety of elicitation techniques, in order to determine the previously-gained knowledge of target language by students. Before doing the related exercises, giving clear instructions and ICQs (instruction checking questions) are of utmost significance. Giving feedback, through and after practicing the target language, comes next, which can be achieved more effectively through proper CCQs (concept checking questions). Each of my lessons end in working on productive skills, namely, Speaking and Writing. The implementation of this stage can be executed by giving the students, either 'Controlled practice' or 'Freer practice', and in some cases, the combination of both.
