I am a qualified TEFL teacher as well as a certified translator and interpreter for the English language. I also hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for both the UK and the EU, as I am qualified to teach in mainstream schools (subjects: Modern Foreign Languages, Literature and Humanities). I also teach Spanish and French at beginner to intermediate level.

Thanks to my professional experience and my work as a translator, I regularly use specialised terminology from the fields of business, administration, medicine/healthcare, education, literature and other technical fields. This makes me particularly qualified to teach Business English to (corporate) clients.

In my lessons I use British English with Received Pronunciation and mainly orientate myself towards the modern communicative teaching method. At the same time, I attach great importance to solid grammar teaching, which is one of my particular strengths.

I have extensive experience in exam preparation, especially for IELTS and Cambridge certificates, as I have taught these intensively as a private tutor in the past. I have also successfully supported international students during lockdowns through one-to-one tuition on online platforms.

In meinem Unterricht nutze ich britisches Englisch mit Received Pronunciation und orientiere mich überwiegend an der modernen kommunikativen Lehrmethode. Gleichzeitig lege ich großen Wert auf eine solide Grammatikvermittlung, die zu meinen besonderen Stärken zählt.

Ich verfüge über umfassende Erfahrung in der Prüfungsvorbereitung, insbesondere für IELTS und Cambridge-Zertifikate, da ich dies in der Vergangenheit intensiv als Privatlehrkraft unterrichtet habe. Zudem habe ich internationale Studierende während der Lockdowns erfolgreich durch Einzelunterricht auf Online-Plattformen begleitet.
