I’m available to teach all levels and citizenship applications. I teach adults and children of all ages.
I mainly follow the New Italian Project method, and the dialogue will be in Italian only. Teaching materials will be supplemented with the use of audio, power point/flash cards and small videos. Continuous dialogue on current topics, own curiosities, customs and traditions of the countries we live in, art and literature.
I normally assign homework to be completed by the next class; I do small progress checks during and at the end of the course.
Classes last an hour to an hour and a half depending on the student's need. Group lessons are also possible.
Lessons are entirely dialogue-based and take place with an introduction of the topic that will then be explored in depth with various teaching aids; depending on the topic/unit covered, you may need to use two lessons. My goal is to give you the possibility to have a good knowledge of the Italian language, such that you can at least, sustain a good conversation and be able to be autonomous in case you decide to travel to our country.
I am also available to teach those who need to apply for citizenship, with a comprehensive program that includes in-depth knowledge of the Italian language.
I also supplement lessons with Italian-language podcasts and suggestions on movies and TV series according to learning level.
For teaching children, I use specific teaching worksheets (including pregraphics), colorful and fun, and interactive books.
