I worked as an assistant professor for an academic year at the SNDT Women’s College, Pune. I mainly taught general English to undergraduate students and literature to English-major undergraduate students. I also have some private-tutoring experience and currently teach two students online. I help them with grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills and often customise lessons to fit their interests. Over the pandemic days, I learnt to get a good enough grip on using technological aids and being innovative. My interaction with my students is always in the target language as it ensures maximum exposure to the language. I like to integrate games (especially for vocabulary) to teach English to my students. I also have regular feedback sessions with my students where we reflect on what we have achieved so far and what can be improved.
