I've given a lot of private tutoring to a lot of people and my approach is a little different compared to other tutors. First and foremost, I help students cultivate the habit of reading so that they are able to enrich their vocabulary. I also encourage them to watch various films and TV series to get an understanding of colloquial phrases, idioms and collocations. Each day students are expected to come with a unique word, which they will try to incorporate into their daily speech.

To keep the lessons, interesting and engaging, I ask students to write essay or speak about topics that are closed to their heart.

I also cover the theoretical aspect of the English language so that they are able to build a solid foundation.
