I am an experienced Foods, Nutrition and Public Health researcher with over 13 years of experience working with national and international public health organizations including four years at Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Strong teaching, research, project management and communication skills.

• Experience in food composition, food fortification, product development, nutrition labeling and food regulations/ laws such as FSSAI, Codex Alimentarius, USFDA, FSA, etc.
• Development and execution of clinical studies, food surveys and consumer studies
• Experience in conducting webinars, stakeholder consultations and/or meetings, panel discussions, conferences, closed discussions, online and offline campaigns, etc.
• Extensive experience of working on human body composition (using anthropometric techniques, whole body potassium counter, Pea Pod and Bioelectric impedance analyzer), food composition, food analysis (using gas chromatography, flame photometry, spectrophotometry, enzymatic gravimetric method), nutrition labelling, ultra-processed foods, food regulations, food fortification, WASH, etc.
• Experience of working with women of reproductive age, pregnant and lactating women neonates, infants, children, adolescents, men and trans-genders
• Expertise in conducting quantitative and qualitative research including hands-on data analysis using MS-Excel, SPSS, Atlas-ti, WHO-Anthro plus
• Data collection using techniques such as in-depth interviews (IDIs)/key informant interview (KIIs), focus-group discussions (FGDs) and field tools such as Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI), Computer-Assisted Field Editing (CAFE), Ages and Stages Standardized Tool and School Readiness Instrument
• Experience in public/food policy and advocacy initiatives
• Able to effectively plan, commission, and produce quality and original content for peer-reviewed journals, factsheets, websites, books, chatbot, videos, television commercials (TVC), public service announcements (PSAs), twitter, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with stakeholders
• Effectively presenting studies at national and international platforms
• Skillfully utilize digital platforms such as Slack, Miro, GotoWebinar, MS Office teams, Zoom, Google meet to work with remote teams
