I graduated from the English Language Teaching program, and it was the place where I developed my extensive teaching skills and knowledge. After graduating, I went to England to improve both my language skills and teaching styles. As I was taking advanced language courses at Gloscat College- Cheltenham, I was also observing the teachers’ teaching techniques to use them in my own teaching experiences. I tried to use my time in England effectively and I knew that it would make a big difference in my future teaching jobs and I was not mistaken.
Besides these, working voluntarily for Girls Guiding for rainbows and brownies in England helped me have a great time with the kids. The experience itself was very beneficial to see children’s abilities. Doing various activities together was one of my best times in England. I have been teaching English for almost 10 years. All these years, I have always been responsible, qualified, enthusiastic, professional, and open to new developments in my area. I have always had good communication skills with my students and have been able to keep their interest in the lesson.
Teaching English as a second language has always been my passion. I love to work with young adults, this can give me positive energy. Now I am working in the same university but in the EAP department. Unlike ELT teaching, in the EAP department, I am responsible for arranging the syllabus, preparing exams, adapting materials to my course content, and delivering the lessons. Therefore, I feel like I develop my skills more as it is a new path for my career.
