Education should be passion based. This motto is at the core of my every tutoring session. I will help you connect with the language on a personal level through full immersion. Learning English is fun and engaging and your language goals are achievable when you are enjoying yourself. For this reason I use a tailored approach to help you build confidence, broaden your vocabulary, and improve your fluency through topics that are of a particular interest and importance to YOU. My classes are very dynamic.

- Sessions for youngest learners are full of games and activities to keep the children interested and involved and to encourage them to actively use the language.

- Sessions for older students are designed to stimulate the development of core skills (writing, speaking, reading or listening) depending on the needs of each student.

- Sessions for adults are focused on the skills you need to develop (be it writing, speaking, listening or reading proficiency) and the goals you need to achieve (be it scoring high on IELTS/ TOEFL or improving your business English communication skills).

I am an experienced and certified educator. I used to teach English at a leading university in Colombia (Universidad de la Sabana) at pre-intermediate, intermediate, and upper-intermediate levels in large groups (up to 36 students) and one to one. My tasks included teaching, lesson planning, developing engaging, interactive activities, grading exams and conducting research.

Since 2014 I have been particular focused on preparing students for IELTS and TOEFL exams, and enabling them to consistently achieve at least 7.0 IELTS Band score or 100 on TOEFL. I developed the course curriculum, planned and taught prep classes focused on the development of core skills: writing, speaking, reading and listening.

After the birth of my child, I have been looking for professional opportunities that would give me more flexibility and a better control of my time, this search has led me to nachhilfeunterricht.de
