I had the privilege of having Dennis Hopkins as my coach and teacher from 2013 to 2020. I initially reached out to him because I needed help with writing and conversing in English, as well as building confidence in using the language. At the time, Dennis was working at Executive English, and from our very first conversation, I felt that he understood my needs. Even though Dennis was from a different career background, it was incredibly valuable to discuss my work with him. We talked about my projects and the presentations I needed to give, and he helped me practice for them. A part of our sessions included being filmed and interviewed, rewriting emails as well as working on specific English expressions. Dennis was excellent at following up and revisiting these areas in our next meetings, which helped me improve greatly. Dennis is methodical, curious, encouraging and a great listener, always focused on ensuring that you practice what you really need. I highly recommend him.
