In my lessons, I value creating a pleasant and interactive atmosphere in which students feel encouraged to speak and express themselves in English. I use different teaching methods to do justice to different learning styles and make each lesson exciting and effective.
Methodology: My approach combines conversation-based practice with structured grammar lessons. For example, in a conversation lesson, we could discuss an interesting topic, such as travel or hobbies, where I lead the conversation, correct mistakes, and introduce new vocabulary in context. This improves fluid and self-confidence when speaking.
Content: I adapt the teaching content to the goals of each student. For example, if a student wants to improve his business English, we focus on professional vocabulary, email writing and presentation skills. For general English learners, we cover basic topics such as grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension and pronunciation. I often use visual aids, such as flashcards or authentic texts, to consolidate learning content.
Dynamics in the classroom: I make sure to create a balance between challenge and support. I like to start each lesson with a warm-up exercise, such as a short vocabulary game or a sentence formation exercise. This loosens the mood and prepares students for more demanding content. In grammar lessons, I use a "practise and apply" approach, in which students first learn a concept (such as the past tense) and then apply it through exercises and making sentences. With my experience and flexible teaching, I ensure that my lessons are pleasant, challenging and enriching for every student.
