Arunima Bhattacharya

I have more than 7 years of experience teaching Political Science in a college setting in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I have a Masters degree in Political Science. I have completed Communicative German Course from Ramkrishna Mission Institute of Language and Culture, Kolkata in 2022.

     I work in a diverse academic environment where I meet students from different socio-economic backgrounds and work hard in fostering a sense of institutional pride, building community awareness and inspiring students to set high standards. I believe that social studies provide an opportunity for students to explore and understand different cultures and perspectives and I strive to create a classroom where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.  

     Over the course of my 7+ years career of teaching students in two different city based colleges has developed a skill in me like teaching in a diverse and multicultural environment, designing interactive teaching sessions, facilitating interdisciplinary lectures and seminars, formulating feedback from students, taking part in admissions interviews and administrative duties. My other duties include lesson planning, research, classroom management and executing the role of examiner at the University level.
