Previously I have taught my peers and my sibling during which I developed a habit of teaching others in a subject which I am confident. With this experience my style of teaching became dynamic in nature. At first my aim would be to understand the level and proficiency of my students in the subject. This will give a me idea on what is the student's strength and weakness over the subject. My key idea is to help the students in the parts where they are weakest at first and then work my way up towards the strengths. But when I teach, my main motto is to make you understand no matter what. So it does not matter how many times I have to repeat, the students are free to ask me doubts any number of times until I am sure that it was understood.
Now one might wonder why the weakest portion first. It is because that is the section in the subject where one can notice the significant improvements when starting, which gives confidence and engages the student to the subject more. This is analogous to the situation where one cleans a place which was already very neat and tidy before versus cleaning a place filled with dust and dirt. In the second case, one can notice that their effort in cleaning was actually visible and would give them a moment of pride for the effort.
I welcome all the students irrespective of their level of understanding and ages to opt for my class to fight against your weak points and become more confident in it.
